The beautiful island of Samos in Greece

On the eastern Aegean Sea there is an island that is the birthplace of the great Greeek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras. This island is found on the north of Dodecanese and Patmos, south of Chios, and off the coast of Asia Minor. This island is known as Samos. Samos, Greece is in the shape of a peninsula and according to the geologists the geological upheavals that had occurred through centuries had separated what is known as the Asia Minor coast now. Possidonio Beach: From this sandy beach can view the coastline of Turkey and you will see several yachts and fisherman boats anchored in the water. This beach has a quite atmosphere and a relaxed feel.

Psili Ammos: this beach is very popular in the Samos Island because of its fine sand in contrast to the pebble beaches in Samos. Psili is said to be just a mile away form the coast of Turkey. This beach is ideal for families with kids.
