Korcula is an island in Croatia and lies on the Adriatic Sea in the county of Dubrovnik-Neretva. It is the sixth largest Adriatic Island and represents the harmonious blending of thousands of years of history, culture, and tradition with the modern Korcula. This beautiful island has stunning beaches, lovely bays, pleasant summer houses, and luxurious hotels. On the other hand, you will also see the unyielding vineyards and olive grooves that have seen centuries pass by along with the quaint ancient towns and villages. Walk into the Town Museum: This building dates back to the 16th century and will give you a tour of the town's history with the help of the hand carved stone sculptors, ancient relics, and artworks. You museum is located right across St. Mark's Cathedral making it easy for you to visit this church as well.

Walk to the pew of the Cathedral: There are many churches, but the St. Mark's Cathedral is the important and popular one. The ancient manuscripts and Renaissance art makes this cathedral a worthy visit. The bell tower of the church is visible from afar.

Cultural limelight: Korcula, Croatia is famous for the Moreska sword dance, which depicts in a dance form the ancient story of a fight between two kings over a beautiful girl. The dance is generally performed weekly.

Korcula Beaches: This island is frequently referred to as the romantic island. Although Hvar, the neighboring island is also visited by couples, the ambience is very different.
