Schloss Belvedere

This area derives its name from the fact that is composed chiefly of three major Viennese museums including the Leopold, Kunsthalle and the MUMOK, with several other galleries and artistic exhibits scattered in the vicinity. There is a lot on offer and art enthusiasts have the pleasure of exiting one excellent museum and immediately stepping into the other. Some first-rate cafes, restaurants and shops are also to be found in the nearby streets.

A fleamarket operating on Saturdays, this is a wonderful venue for browsing, haggling and entertainment. The market offers everything ranging from porcelain, clothes, books and electrical goods and features both genuine antiques to disguised souvenirs. Have fun but be cautious in your purchases!
